A large School Readiness Fair 2026 was recently organized at Lahra Fulbari School in Kishanganj district with the support of Pratham Foundation and ICDS. The event focused on preparing children aged 4 to 6 years for formal schooling through fun-based learning activities, games, storytelling, mathematics exercises, and creative participation. Parents, teachers, Anganwadi workers, and community members actively participated in the educational program.
Several activity stalls were set up to improve children’s language skills, logical thinking, color recognition, emotional development, and basic mathematics knowledge. District officials appreciated the initiative and said that such programs help children develop interest in education from an early age and strengthen foundational learning in rural areas.
