The proposed CISF Regional Training Centre in Kishanganj is expected to become one of the major security training facilities in Bihar. Planned across nearly 110 acres in the Pothia area, the campus is designed with modern infrastructure including training grounds, administrative buildings, classrooms, residential barracks, fitness areas, and advanced security training facilities. The centre is expected to provide professional training for around 1,000 CISF personnel and strengthen national security preparedness in the region.
The visual concept of the training centre includes a grand entrance gate with CISF branding, large parade grounds for drills and ceremonies, modern multi-storey training blocks, landscaped roads, and disciplined architectural design. The campus is also expected to feature obstacle courses, weapon training areas, smart surveillance systems, and green open spaces to create a well-organized environment for trainees. Officials believe the project will also boost local employment, infrastructure growth, and economic development in Kishanganj district.
