A grand 48-hour Akhand Sankirtan program was recently organized at the Hanuman Temple in the Pothia area of Kishanganj district. The religious event began with a traditional Kalash Yatra in which devotees, including women and children, carried decorated holy pots while chanting devotional hymns and bhajans. The temple premises were beautifully decorated with flowers, lights, and religious banners, creating a vibrant spiritual atmosphere for the devotees and visitors.
During the continuous Sankirtan program, local priests and devotional groups performed bhajan-kirtan, Hanuman Chalisa recitations, and spiritual discourses throughout the day and night. Hundreds of devotees from nearby villages participated in the event to seek blessings from Lord Hanuman and take part in the community prayers. The program also included distribution of prasad and community meals, making the event a major religious gathering in the region.
