Mata Gujri University is a private institution of higher education located in Kishanganj, Bihar, India. It was established under the Bihar Private University Act (2013) and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Background and Establishment

Founded in 2019 through notification No. 463 dated February 20, 2019, the university emerged from the academic foundation of the Mata Gujri Memorial Medical College and Hospital Trust. Named after Mata Gujri, mother of Guru Gobind Singh, it embodies a mission of holistic education and service-oriented development. It sits on the Delhi–Guwahati National Highway (NH-31), offering regional access and a 67-acre green campus environment.
