Kishanganj Fort
Kishanganj Fort is one of the historical landmarks of the Kishanganj district in Bihar, reflecting the region’s medieval and Mughal-era heritage. Though much of the original structure is now in ruins, the fort still carries an old-world charm with its massive gateways, thick defensive walls, arched corridors, and weathered stone architecture.
The fort is believed to have served as a strategic military and administrative site during earlier regional kingdoms and later periods of Mughal influence. Over time, natural aging and lack of preservation turned many sections into ruins, but the remaining structure continues to attract history lovers, photographers, and local tourists.
